Canon released the first RF mount cinema camera Canon EOS C70, which shoots 4K 4:2:2 10-bit with no record limits. It has the size of a DSLR and features the new RF lens mount.
The camera has a Super 35mm DGO Sensor delivers top-tier 4K video and is equipped with an RF mount instead of in-body image stabilization that makes a superior stabilization performance to EF mounts. Like other cameras in the Cinema series, it is mainly used for high-performance video recording and film production.
Compared with the usual heavy-duty cinema camera, the EOS C70 offers similar performance in a more compact and lighter form factor. At just160mm wide and 130.2mm in height, the compact size makes it an ideal cinema camera for nimble mobile shooting as well as working in tight environments.
